What's the Mad Tropic???
There is a place of myth and legend somewhere in the warm, southern seas known as The Tropic of Madison. The nickname, Mad Tropic, was bestowed upon these islands by the locals in playful reference to the state of travelers who occasionally find themselves marooned and cast away on these uncharted shores. Northerners and people of Western "civilization" are so unaccustomed to the extremely laid back and leisurely lifestyle of these islands, they tend to be driven into a state of euphoric insanity. The ready abundance of fresh food, warm weather, beautiful, lush flora, and seemingly endless days to soak it all in can take a heavy toll on those who live by the clock and necktie. It's the curse of knowing what you've been missing.
